KellyJean is a down and dirty street tracker built for ripping around town and light to light drags in between bar stops. She’s an all American, take no shit kinda gal, that’s still sweet on the ol’ peepers to boo.

One to go against the grain, I’m not surprised I fell for this little 883cc Evo. Harley mated the smaller engine to a close ratio transmission which equated to more power off the line. The smaller pistons also have another affect, less reciprocating mass means she’s quick on the throttle response. These two things more than make up for the difference in displacement from the 1200cc version. What separates this lil darlin from the rest of the herd is the Mikuni HSR 42mm flat slide carburetor and Arlen Ness performance intake I fitted to the air sucker side. That paired with a Super Trap 2-1 header and shorty cone slip on really makes her scream. A TrackerDie chain conversion in a glorious gold hue, sporting some slightly modified gearing adds quite a bit of torque to the equation. All this means she’s prime for the hole shot whenever the situation arises.

Some Progressive Suspension 15” rear shocks, and 4” over forks up front cradle a pair of super sticky Pirelli Night Dragon tires to help get all that power to the ground, and let you lean over and scrape a peg as so desired. All that along with the Screamin Eagle performance clutch doesn’t hurt those moments when you can’t resist the urge to rear her up on the hind legs either.

Other small touches come in the form a Frisco mount for that peanut tank, a bobbed rear fender, custom leather seat, 12” T-Bars, Biltwell torquer grips, single cable throttle conversion, `05 front brake master cylinder and silicone fluid. Electrics got a llittle love with a Ballistic Battery lith-ion 6 cell weighing in at a mere one pound, coil relocation, NGKR plugs and wires, and an automotive style ignition & start switch. Switch pod deletes handle the rest of the clutter while keeping things simple. A bates headlight shines the way without going overboard.
